Can You Earn Money Without Skills?
Can you earn money without skills?

Recently, I started to explore Quora and engage in and answer questions I felt I was qualified to answer.
Yesterday, I received a question asking: “How can I earn money online without any skill during my college years?”
This was my first thought. Then I realized most people have this thought at least once during their college years, and they are desperate to earn as much as possible.
It was a mistake to look for such opportunities. I learned this the hard way.
You can still earn money online if you are willing to learn the hard way.
1. Participate in online surveys
You can earn extra money by giving your opinion to companies. It’s just a matter of finding the right platform for these surveys. Swagbucks is one. YouGov is another.
2. Online sales of products
You can start making money if you have products that you can sell. You can use sites like Etsy, eBay, Shopify etc.
3. Assisting in Research
You can help others with their work by doing research. You will need to use Google, read a lot, and spend a lot more time.
4. Freelancing
It is possible to earn money through freelance work, but it’s clear that if you lack the necessary skills or knowledge you will not be able to freelance. You will still need creative writing skills, even if you are just writing for a job.
5. Join affiliate and referral programs
Affiliate marketing is another way to earn money. You can earn money by joining affiliate programs and referring others to products. One affiliate program I have used is Writesonic. They offer a 30% commission for life.
Whatever you do to make money, it will require some skills. It could be a simple copywriting job, or even creating a YouTube video. You will need to work hard and be smart to earn money and promote your work.
In a nutshell, my opinion is that instead of wasting your time trying to figure out how to make money without skills, you should start building your resume, learn some valuable skills, and explore what you’re passionate about. Then, think of ways to monetize it. You can find thousands of certifications and projects on Coursera. Udemy. Google Projects etc.
I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially if it was a similar experience.
